Gives the design details of the device or fitting known as a trolley wire ear that holds a tramway copper trolley wire in position. Notes that the drawing was traced in 1958 from a MMTB drawing.Yields information about the design of trolley wire fittings and how they were fabricated. Interesting that the drawing is dated 15-8-1958, given that on 1-3-1958 the last street tramways operated by the Victorian Railways closed. To the far left, a similar rug appears on the lap of a woman who is speaking to a visitor or possible staff member. In the middle, a lady sits with hands in her lap, looking directly towards the camera. This photograph is one of approximately 43 original photographs and photocopies of buildings, patients and staff assembled in a red covered, spirally bound photograph album (the album itself is now discarded and the images stored separately). The images in the album cover the period from the 1870s to 1965. A few photographs have inscriptions on the reverse; others had later separate labels in the album. The album was presumably compiled as a public record. It and other items came from the collection assembled by Dr Fred Stamp, the last medical superintendent of Willsmere Hospital before its closure in 1988. Original photographs have been uploaded to and described on Victorian Collections. The album itself is listed and linked separately showing the photographs in situ.A number of the photographs from the Willsmere Hospital album are confronting, especially given the condition of the buildings and facilities depicted, as well as the casual photographs of patients, which some viewers may find distressing. In the 2000s Legacy released a range of Legacy Bears to expand the merchandise available for sale during Legacy Week and at other fundraising opportunities during the year. This special edition WW2 land army bear was released in 2019. The Women's Land Army (WLA) was a British civilian group created during World War II to replace the men called up for the military. Over 80,000 women served working on farms, in sawmills, and in forestry. They became know as Land Girls and Lumber Jills.
