The Headland Estate housing development began in the early 1980s. The Sunbury Tip was transferred from the end of Reservoir Road as housing development spread in that area to a site on the NW side of Mt. The Directory was published by the former Shire of Bulla in 1994 - 1995 and was issued to residentsa living withing the Shire. It features details of public services which were available within the area at the time as well as maps of the settlements and some private advewrtisements.A 20 page booklet with an aerial photograph of the Greenvale Dam and surrounding area on the front cover. Updated Information from Bruce Frazer: This is Frazer's (not "Fraser") orchard, sold to A.V. Jennings Co. For housing development c1970. Address was "Alkoomi", Oban Rd. North Ringwood. State School 4120 was enclosed on its north & east sides by the orchard. Owned by Harold & Sylvia Frazer, 12 acres, growing mainly cherries plus plums & lemons. This is a photograph of The Avenue leading to the Sunbury Asylum. it is lined with pine trees and post and rail fences. At some stage oak trees were also planted along the avenue. In the late 1990s the trees along the west side of The Avenue were removed as a result of housing development.
