The Greensborough Methodist Church stood in Main Street Greensborough and was central to the social life of the suburb in the early 20th century. This original site is now part of the Greensborough Plaza shopping complex. The Church moved to the new building in Grimshaw Street circa 1970s. The first school in Greensborough was a Denominational School on the Church of England site corner Grimshaw and Church Streets. In 1863 the Denominational Schools Board was disbanded and the school became known as a Common School. The Diamond Valley Community Hospital was established in 1942 in Grimshaw Street Greensborough. Due to financial circumstances, the hospital closed in 2000. This collection of newspaper clippings is from i1988 to 1998 and was collected by staff.
