Historical information

The first school in Greensborough was a Denominational School on the Church of England site corner Grimshaw and Church Streets. In 1863 the Denominational Schools Board was disbanded and the school became known as a Common School. It later moved to the present site of Greensborough Primary School which was established in 1878.
