The banner came back to Australia with Arthur COWLEY No 50704, RAAF. The Banner was removed from a Civic Hall by Paul RATCLIFFE of the British army, a cousin of Arthur Cowley. Centre is a black cotton swastika appliqued on to white cotton disc which in turn is appliqued on to the red banner.
