Historical information

The banner came back to Australia with Arthur COWLEY No 50704, RAAF. The Banner was removed from a Civic Hall by Paul RATCLIFFE of the British army, a cousin of Arthur Cowley.

Physical description

Red cotton, rectangular banner with white rayon inner boarder appliqued on. Centre is a black cotton swastika appliqued on to white cotton disc which in turn is appliqued on to the red banner. Cream braid trim on one short side in a small brass ring on corners of opposite side.
