This Certificate has been issued to Kevin F Tierney, who worked initially as a University Student conductor during the summer holidays, then as a conductor or a driver during two following years. Receipt issued Mr L Hickman? for 8/- appears to be for the cost of property and 1 screw driver. Signed by H Guice who became the MMTB Treasurer and Accountant and was Acting Secretary in 1953. Herbert (Bert) Norman Guice was appointed by the HTT at its meeting of 21/1/1916 as its Accountant.
