Elizabeth Hogan was born at Inglewood. She married Gus Gervasoni of Daylesford. Their only child, John Hogan Gervasoni, weas born at Daylesford on 29 September 1929. Altar boy surplice worn by John Hogan Gervasoni at St Peter's Catholic Church, Daylesford. It was probably made by his mother Elizabeth Gervasoni (Hogan). The last image shows John Gervasoni wearing the surplice at his First Communion at St Peter's Daylesford. In November 2019, Peter Sharkey from England visited the Mission . In January 2020, he emailed scans of 3 letters from seaman Peter Donovan, a relative, written from Melbourne. The letters were written using printed paper from the Mission to Seamen.In total, there are 13 letters, written from various ports between 1920 and 1922; in many respects, they offer a glimpse of economic and social history. The zinc 1 Reichspfennig coin was minted by Nazi Germany between 1940 and 1945 during World War II, replacing the bronze version. It is worth 1/100 or .01 of a Reichsmark. Made entirely of zinc, the 1 Reichspfennig is an emergency issue type, similar to the zinc 5 and 10 Reichspfennigs, and the aluminium 50 Reichspfennig coins from the same period.Obverse: Reichsadler with swastika.
