Prepared by crews from sheets to enable them to know what service times to run, meal times, details of crew changes etc, based on their allocated shift or run from the roster.Sixty (60) page notebook with brown card board covers. Each sheet faint ruled, both sides, with some additional pages fixed in. Right hand side only has the hand written details of each SEC Ballarat runs - giving sign on times, notes, timetables, which run taken or taken by, meal times, notes with regard to special instructions, finish times notes with corrections and changes. Includes weekday and Saturday runs. Sunday timetables not included in the notebook pages. Image 1 shows covers and image 2, one of the sheets with the runs printed on both side of the page. Form used to record a summary of the working hours of crews, showing the total hours and the hours worked when one man operation. Gives a list of names at the time when the form prepared. Also used by Jerry? as a sheet of paper to write out the details of No. 9 run for Saturdays as a reference document and noted it was last time on the Victoria St route and recorded the tramcar number.Duplicated typed form, foolscap sheet, titled "Summary of daily time sheets - Traffic Department", giving name, total time, one man rate time, and spread of hours. Has a list of employee names in two columns. Dated 28/7/1971 - Wednesday On rear of sheets, Jerry? Van Rooy - has used the sheet to write out Saturday 9 run details. Note the high set bumper bar on the tramcar and the large ticket wallet in the Conductors bags and the inside blinds on the windows of the saloon. Alan Bradley advised by e-mail of 1/9/2006 of the change of style of uniform from tunic with high collars to the jacket style. Could be 1940 or slightly earlier. Email with worksheet. Yields information about postcard printing, Bendigo Charing Cross in 1906 and a person who appears to have collected cards.Printed colour postcard of Charing Cross Bendigo with two trams in the view and crew men standing in front of the trams with buildings, the fountain in the background. Looks along Mitchell St. Title of the postcard is "Charing Cross and Mitchell St, Bendigo". Has in view, R. Curtains City Club Hotel with a "Concerts" sing on it and on the other corner, a building with the name "Gibsons Corner". Note the direction of the trolley poles on the trams, the wrong way around for the direction of the street. On rear of postcard is a message address to Miss Jani Baskin, San Antonio, Texas USA, post marked ex Bendigo 28.9.1906 and Seattle WA, Oct. 2? 1906, with a Victorian stamp and a two Cent (due to postage underpaid) US stamp.
