Photograph of Puffing Billy train halted near the tanks below Menzies Creek, where drivers would take on water. The hill behind rises up to Black Hill Rd. In 1953 a landslide fell onto the tracks in this area, leading to the line's 9 year hiatus.

Photo of Madigan house. Patrick Madigan built this house shortly after his arrival from Lysterfield in 1878. It replaced an earlier one-roomed hut. The house survived into the early 2000s when it was destroyed in a fire.

The photo shows a large draught horse in profile, standing in a paddock. Scattered trees stand in the distance beyond the paddock fences. This is the Breens' draught horse Violet, probably at Menzies Creek.

Photo shows a tree lying across a road, having fallen from a high bank on the right. Two men are standing on the tree and appear to be cutting it with axes. Three other men are watching. A child stands further down the road, partially obscured by the tree. This is near Hermons Corner on the (now) Belgrave-Gembrook Road, Menzies Creek. The land on either side of the road is part of the Breen farm and the two axemen are the Breen brothers.

A set of four colour photos showing the area around where Cardinia Reservoir is now located. The photos show various views of the hillsides and valleys prior to the damming of Cardinia Creek. Each photo has 'Belgrave Cardinia Creek' handwritten on the back. They date from prior to May 1970. The set was donated to the society by David Howe. This "Cornish" organ was imported by Thomas Sebire of Wandin in 1911. In 1942 it was bequeathed to his daughter, Edna (Mrs. G. Andrews of Wandin) and by her to her daughter, Beverly (Mrs. L.D. Creek of Nhill) in 1971. Mrs Creek has made this organ available for the Wandin Historical Display. Mrs. G. Andrews was organist of the Wandin Methodist Church from 1927 to 1942.
