Hanro (Australia) Knitting Mills Limited Invoice and Packing Slip: White colour paper with black print. A gold oval circle with a fine gold oval circle inside with Hanro Swiss Inspired printed within the oval on the upper left hand side of the invoice. Registered office is 264-175 Hargreaves Street. Cable address: ' Benknit' Bentleys private Telephone 3-0241. In the body of the document is Styles, Description, Quality, Price Extension and Total. The terms of sale is 3 1/4 % seven days from invoice date or 2 1/2% 30 days (unless marked net,) interest 6 1/2% charged on overdue accounts. Goods on objected in 14 days after receipt are considered duly accepted. Two holes at the left side are 5cm x 7.3cm apart for storage. Pink blank sheet followed by orange blank sheet and cream blank sheet to have carbon sheets inserted. Photocopy of a newspaper article titled Discover Bendigo by James Lerk titled The Mine Flooding Crisis - Finale of the Victoria Quartz. Soon after the flooding of the mine commenced in June 1910, tributers worked the upper levels. By 1913 the Company found it was uneconomic to allow tributers to continue working in the upper levels. Four Bendigo men, Ernest Smith, David Holden, Jack Harrison and David Patullo worked the mine during the Depression. They did well. Clothing - BODICE (WEDDING DRESS), 1896
Bodice (Wedding dress), hand and machine stitched. Silk lined with polished cotton. Slim ruched sleeves - ruched at inner and elbow side of sleeve (hand sewn). Elbow edge of ruching forms two ''frilled pleats'' down the sleeve to the wrist. Wrist edge lily pointed and finished with a 9 cm underfill of cotton lace. Top of sleeves have a leg-o-mutton balloon effect panel sewn at the shoulder and the upper arm. This balloon effect hangs down over the sleeves almost to the elbow. Top of sleeve has an embroidered lace frill hanging over armhole. Two silk bows are placed at the shoulders. Stand-up collar,5 cm deep is finished on each side with a pearl and glass beaded bow motif- 6cm in diameter. Hook and eye fasteners down front-metal loops covered with button hole stitch. Bodice boned with thirteen (13) ''bones''. Each pocket finished with a fan pattern stitching. Linen panel, with a diamond shaped weave stitched at each underarm. Front bodice is pleated from shoulders to centre front. Right front laps across left to fasten with a hook on the left shoulder. This panel is heavily beaded with glass beads and sequins. Colour photo of the upper plaque on the Bendigo Underground Miner Monument. The plaque is dark grey with gold edge and printing. It is mounted on a marble base. Cream coloured satin bodice with cotton lining. Deep V shape at waist front and back. Front opening has twelve cream coloured bowl shaped buttons with bound button holes. Invocation and Lord's Prayer, Rev W Bennett. (President of Ministers Association) 2. National Anthem 3. Prayer for the King, Queen, and the Royal Family Rev. L W Lee. O! God who rulest over Thy people in love, we beseech Thee to bless Thy Servant, our King, that under him this nation may be wisely governed, and Thy Church may serve Thee in all godly quietness, Grant that the King, the Prince, and the people, being devoted to these with all their hearts, and preserving in good works to the end, may, by Thy guidance, come to Thine everlasting Kingdom, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
