Booklet - Lydia Chancellor collection: St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church
The Presbyterian congregation began in 1854. The first St Andrews church was built in Myers Street in 1859 but this was demolished and the current stuccoed brick building was built in 1930. The first services were held 29/11/1930.Twenty-four pages booklet titled St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Bendigo. Centenary brochure 1854-1954. The front cover is brown with the Presbyterian Church of Australia logo in the middle. The booklet details the history of the first one hundred years of the church. Sign, "CARS STOP HERE", 1960's
Piece of sheet steel, enamelled with red, white and black paint for use at tram stops. Small red band at top, white band with letters CARS STOP HERE and large red band underneath, on both sides to indicate to drivers a compulsory stop- That is all tram to stop at the location.
