Saloon body framing, complete but no sides etc. Photographed used in the Trolley Wire article on the reconstruction of Horse Tram No. 1. Two copies held -On rear, taped on with red ink correction is the Trolley Wire caption "Reconstruction underway: about a third of the original body framing was reused in the tram. All the corner posts and the underframe are new. DAVE MACARTNEY" and a sticker with black in "Reduce to 5 1/2" x 3 3/4". B&W print and scanned images of a coloured postcard lent to the BTM by Mr. Norm DePomeroy, Dec. 1997. Image is an ESCo tram near the intersection of Doveton St. and Sturt St. travelling west along the south side of Sturt. Steet. Photo taken soon after opening of the electric trams. Shows buildings along the north side of Sturt St. and the building at the SE corner of Doveton St. ESCo tram has destination board on the front dash of the tram. Note very similar to item 834, but shadows are different, road surface different and trees have leaves. 1 copy held at 8/98. Postcard posted 25/7/1907. Contains on pages 107 - 114 an item presented at the Ballarat Conference on Engineering Heritage during March 1999. Paper written by Warren Doubleday, titled "Conservation Planning and a 1905 Electric Tramcar". Fourteen papers presented at the conference contained within the volume. Paper has photographs of No. 12, recovery, work and other Ballarat photos. Printed on glossy white paper with two colour front cover - brown and black. Also contained is a letter from Ray Martin, the conference organiser, forwarding a copy of the transactions. Actually published early April 2000. Mr. Ronaldson was in hospital at the time unable to take part in the campaign. Senator Macdonald said that the Ballarat's tramway study would go ahead fully funded under a Coalition government.
