Series of letters between Frank Shennen, Managing Editor of the Transportation Magazine of Sydney and Lewis Russell regarding cable trams. This information may have formed the basis of an article, "Salute to the Cable Tram" that appeared in the July 1948 issue of Truck and Bus Transportation - see Reg Item 2578. A complete set of 8 blueprints from “Popular Mechanics Magazine”, Chicago. The blueprints are on a royal purple coloured paper with white print. Each print displays labelled diagrams to assist the hobbyist to assemble the ship model “Sovereign of the Seas”. The designer is Harold T. Bodkin. Distinct fold creases divide the documents into quarters. Eight page printed document or report titled "A Further Lease of Life " written for BTM magazine Fares Please!, in September 2003. The document is a transcript of a memo prepared by the Ballarat Tramways Branch Superintendent dated 7 May 1948. Written by A. V. Mawby. The document examines the running condition of the Ballarat Tramway system, including the rolling stock, buildings, permanent way, overhead equipment, passenger numbers. Frederick Dickson was taken to Pentridge prison on 13 March 1902, where he spent the first months of his sentence in A Division.
