Vehicle - Buick
This vehicle is a fantastic example of how Holden built their own bodies on to imported chassis. ( in this case a Buick ) as part of their early foray into building motor vehicles/.Built in 1937 this Holden Bodied Buick was made in the South Australian plant and features a Straight 8 engine and is designated the 840 model. The hand crafted body includes a spare wheel each side and is referred to as a six wheeler. Purchased from Sydney for the collection, the Buick is a great example of the early stages of a Holden body with a complete roof pressing.Built in South Australia by Holden.Burgundy Body.
