Violence and retribution reulting from tensions over the grazing and destruction of settlers, sheep and cattle which had overrun their waterholes and hunting groungs. It is representative of souvenir ware produced for mass consumption at a time of community celebration - the 1888 Centenary of British Settlement in Australia.
