Ian Cramer donated the plane Avro Anson LT710 to the RAAF museum Point Cook in 1980. The plane was purchased war surplus from the Nhill Aerodrome after the war and stored in a shed on the farm at Woorak. An initial meeting between the Bendigo Catholic Diocese and the Brotherhood of St Laurence took place in September 1966. Land was acquired in Upper California Gully and the first flats were occupied by August 1968. In 1989 a thirty bed hostel was opened in Wesley Street, Kangaroo Flat and this was extended to 50 beds in 1993. This envelope was specifically produced for the 75th Anniversary of the Royal Australian Survey Corps. This First Day cover envelope was stamped at the Bonegilla Military Post Office on 29 June 1990 in preparation for the Corps birthday on 1 July. The School of Military Survey was located at Bonegilla Victoria adjacent to Lake Hume reservoir. History of Fortuna Villa booklets were produced covering owners and occupiers, the building and the tours during Army tenure. A number of different versions of the Tour booklet were produced. Each version had a different colour cover. The orange covered edition of the booklet was the last version produced and printed and this flyer was produced as a handout companion for those tours. The City of Moorabbin Historical Society was formed c 1960 by a group of Moorabbin area residents who were concerned that the history of the area should be preserved. A good response to a call for items related to the historical area of Moorabbin Shire brought donations of a wide variety of artefacts which are now preserved by the current members of CMHS at Box Cottage Museum .
