The newspaper article features a photograph of a very young Nina Black with her mother, Toula Mavrokefalos, taken in 1916 at Bull's Gardens Newcastle during a family trip from Melbourne. The article and photographed was published in Neos Kosmos on 16 November 1998.Bull's Garden was located on what is now part of the current suburb of Whitebridge. It was once a major tourist spot of the Newcastle area, drawing thousands of people to visit and picnic. A scanned copy of a newspaper cutting of a photograph of a two ladies nursing little babies and sitting in a open horse-driven cart. A man is standing next to the cart. Has the seals of both organisations, signed by the MMTB Chairman and Acting Secretary and the Mayor of St Kilda, Councillor and Town Clerk. A small book owned by Accountant & Auditor Harold Curnow detailing the "Simplification of Title to and the Dealing with Estates and Interests in land for for other purposes", it also has the date 17/8/56 written in pencil on the top left corner. Allan writes of the severe fog which meant there were no buses of planes for three days. "I only heard or saw two cars over the weekend and each one had a man in front with a torch." When he and Alette attended the Royal Concert they found themselves sitting near Charlie Chaplin, Sir Laurence Olivier and Vivian Leigh. The Queen was there and Sir Malcolm Sargent conducted the orchestra and a choir of 500. Alette is going home to Norway for Christmas.
