Sixteen page book or booklet printed on A4 white paper, folded to A5 with saddle bound staples, titled "Ballarat's Tramway Preservation Project". Written by Campbell Duncan for the BTPS c1978, giving details of the history of Ballarat's tramways, and a brief history of Geelong and Bendigo, the formation and operations of the BTPS and the tramcar fleet. Has 10 photographs, 1 sketch of the front of a maximum traction tramcar and a map of the BTPS location on the rear. Map drawn by G. Inglis 2.73. Note no credits for photographs. Photographic album containing 39 Colour postcards of Melbourne trams. The album consists of 30 leaves of dark grey heavy paper with three creases on left hand side of sheet, bound into a heavy bluey grey folder, embossed in gold 'Scrap Book" and bound with bluey grey string with two holes. The cover has been embossed with a the blue grey in swirls. Inside of back cover is a white label, "A New Star Product", with a please ask for No. with "425" stamped on. Postcards have been glued into the album. Entries have been kept to a single line - cards are able to be dated from buildings, whether the trams have marker lights, types of motor cars and general Melbourne history. Twenty (20c) ticket for the Ballarat Tourist Tramway, printed on semi glossy white paper. Ticket Number A 000000. The ticket is printed using turquoise colour ink, with the ticket number in black ink. Ticket in the style of the SEC tram tickets. Tickets used for Adult Return, Child Return and Child Single from 24/12/1974 to 31/10/1985. Ticket collected at the time of first issue to museum (date 12/7/1974) and placed in a manila envelope for the archives. Set of five yellow cloth back paper tickets with white front, printed in black ink, with price and number shown on the ticket. Space for an expiry date to be stamped on the ticket and name, address and school of the student. The June 1963 Fare Schedule (Reg. Item 1731) shows these tickets. They were replaced by a new scheduled issued August 1965 (Reg. Item 1732). Title page has been hand written to Les Denmead, dated 6/7/1970, thanking Mr. Denmead for his assistance over the years. Photos divided into the three SEC Provincial Tramway cities, each with a typed name proceeding the set of photos. This is in blue enamel. On the rear are stamped numbers and manufacturers name - "AMOR MELB" or "STOKES & SONS MELBOURNE" in the bottom portion of the pass, except .9 which is "STOKES" only.
