Certificate of Service and Discharge issued to Ernest Roy Steen (service number 19368) who enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force on 25th October 1940. This discharge was issued on the 13th October 1944 when Steen was serving as a Leading Aircraftsman. The reason for the discharge was that Steen was commissioned as an officer.

A WW1 Mills type Hand Grenade converted into a desk inkwell. It has a hinged lid which when opened reveals a ceramic ink pot. This is an original casting for a Mills Grenade mounted on a black glazed ceramic base. Copy of a menu for a Christmas dinner held in 1945. The dinner was held by the Signals Unit, Air Headquarters (Operations) of the British Air Forces of Occupation, Bad Eilsen, Germany. This appears to be a colour photocopy of the original menu and the reverse has been autographed by a number of the dinner attendees.

Between 8th and 10th June there were celebrations in England celebrating the first anniversary of the end of WWII. Similar celebrations were held in Australian towns and cities.Pennant produced for the Victory Day Celebrations, June 10th, 1946. This triangular pennant is made from a dark blue wool felt cloth with two loops attached to the fly. The pennant is marked with insignia and wording associated with the first anniversary 'V' day celebrations in 1946.Inscribed with a large, white letter V with "victory" in side and in red lettering, surrounded by a "laurel" wreath. Vietnam era SLR maintenance and cleaning kit in a green canvas holdall. It has a waxed coating, including the ties. The kit includes a pull through, a brush, a phial of oil and a metal adjustment tool. Each item is stored in its own individual pocket. (see also item 00092).

A medallion presented to Private A. C. Hill by the citizens of Frankston, Victoria. These medallions were presented to local men who enlisted for service as they departed to World War 1 by the "Citizens and Patriotic Committee". The medallion has a gold finish and has an olive wreath around the circumference. A small loop is provided to attach the medallion to a chain or similar. In this case the medallion is attached to a fob watch chain commonly worn by men when dressed in a jacket. (refer item 00325).One side of the medallion is inscribed: "A. Hill" "From the citizens of Frankston" and the other is inscribed "A. I. F."
