On rear of tickets is a printed diagonal pattern. Handwritten note to Warren Doubleday from Dave Macartney on a piece of ARHS Vic. Div. news sheet explains the origin of these tickets - found blocking the north east sander on tram 18 on 25 April 2000. Receipt book - for receipt of cash/badges or delivery of badges. Use by the BTPS early 1980's when tram/train lapel badge sales were a big thing and the Society had a number of "agents". Book consists of 50 duplicate receipts, white original, pink duplicate. Bound into a book, with card covers, light blue cloth binding and stapled. Dave Macartney advised 12/1/2001 that the crew member on the left is Sam Serman, who was senior inspector at the time and drove special trams. Yields information about the style and printing of tickets used in Ballarat and Bendigo tramways and how they were presented.1717 - Block of 200 tickets - turquoise ink on off white paper, denomination 6c, lettered A413600 to A 413799, headed State Electricity Commission of Victoria, Provincial Tramways. On rear in turquoise ink is a diagonal criss cross or tartan pattern. The 200 tickets have been stapled onto a heavy cardboard back with a heavy metal staple and a small cardboard retaining strip at the top of the ticket. Blank or Unused Scholar's monthly ticket for use by under 18 years students, number No. 003111. Has form number "TYE 3-580" in top left hand corner. Space for an expiry date to be stamped on the ticket and name, address and school of the student. Shows how the crews were organised in relation to their work and total times worked. 2nd copy of original added.Single sheet of off white duplicating paper titled "Rotation Roster S.134 14/9/70". Printed by wax cut stencil or Gestetner method. Details the run number that an employee would do for a particular week and day of the week and the total hours mins worked that week. Was part of D. J. Printed by wax cut stencil or Gestetner method. Details the run number operated by Motormen / Conductors on a particular table for the day of the week. Thought to predate items in Reg.
