Scrapbook (based on 1933 Nestle Diary - diary has 26 pages of information relating to Nestlé’s products pre and post-natal). Entries written in ink, finishes on Feb 15, probably written by a teenage girl. Diary is then used as a scrapbook with newspaper cuttings pasted on first 107 pages. Diary entries continue on Pages 122 to 158 [related to details of a 'Rose' and a marigold being observed; references to Guides (Girl)]. Several loose cuttings are in book (dates later than 1933). Scrap Book (4 pages) with 'press-out' illustrations. These are inserted loosely in between the hard covers of a business book issued by the Commercial Union Assurance Co Ltd (Agent for Bendigo: Mr George G McColl printed on front cover). Printed on inside back cover is ''Record of Fire Policies and unused columns for such information - there are 'scribbles' on both inside front and back covers with the repeated (child's?) initials of EJH. A printed date may have been altered to be 1892. The rhyme ''Ten Little Nigger Boys'' (12 illustrations) are on four of the loose pages and three English monarchs are grouped on the other loose page. Certificate of inspection of a under fired multitubular boiler at the Bendigo Butter Factory. Registration no. 1425. Dated 6 July 1908 and signed by Johan Sarvaas, Inspector of Boilers), and A. Merrin (Chief Inspector). The owner is given as J. Cumming, Mundy St, Bendigo. The document states that the boiler can be used up to a pressure of 90 lbs. Information includes particulars of the boiler.
