The bicycle is one of the last bicycles hand made and assembled by 'Mr. Rob' c1960 prior to the mass manufacture and overseas imports of 'built up' bicycles. On closing down in September 1999 'Mr Rob' presented this bicycle to the Nunawading Historical and another to the Victorian Museum.Boy's 26 inch bicycle fitted with Dunlop tyres, bell, mudguards, handgrips, leather seat, rear reflector and a ' faboati' coaster hub. Black and white photo of girls in elaborate costumes for an Annual Demonstration. There appears to be frogs or sea creatures around two central figures and King Neptune at the rear. The year is not known but it is in the 1940s or 1950s as the album was a collection of press photos taken during dress rehearsals from that time. Throughout the year Melbourne Legacy provided classes for Junior Legatees such as dancing, gymnastics and Eurythmics. The Demonstration was an annual event to showcase their skills. Melbourne Legacy conducted Annual Demonstrations / Parades from 1928 through to 1979, usually held at Melbourne Town Hall. The beautiful costumes were made by members of the Junior Legacy Mothers' Club and the Melbourne Legacy Wives' Association.A record of the displays at the Annual Demonstrations. The Special Sport Sedan is a rear wheel drive saloon (sedan) motor car with a front located engine, manufactured by Buick. The Special Sport Sedan is part of Buick's Series 40 family of cars. It is powered by a naturally aspirated engine of 4.1 litre capacity. This unit features overhead valve valve gear, in line 8 cylinder layout, and 2 valves per cylinder. It has an output of 107 bhp (108 PS/80 kW) of power at 3400 rpm, and maximum torque of 275 N·m (203 lb·ft/28 kgm) at 2000 rpm. A 3 speed manual transmission transmits the power. A small weather board structure was used as a church until the Romanesque brick building opened in 1904.
