The first signature at the top of the front cover is "Tom Dunphy 6th Batt". This was his invitation he had signed by attendee's. He was very involved in the 6th Batt Association in Bendigo. Refer Cat No 1093 for items re Tom. Program folding card, front cover has two flags at top with a Rising Sun image under followed by the heading "Banquet", under is the date, place, then an image of a Soldier and Sailor. Inside has first page a list of "Toasts" and by whom, 3rd page is the extensive menu and last on rear the committee names of the Bendigo Branch. The front cover has hand written names in pencil of those attending, inside has 4 names and rear is covered in names. Part of the Reverend Chaplain Major Thomas Bruce Williams, No 556101, Collection..1) Khaki battle dress trousers in wool fabric with pleated front. Waistband and pockets lined with light khaki cotton drill fabric. Wide waistband secured with three brown bakelite buttons Inside the waistband are six brown bakelite buttons used to secure braces. On each outer side of the waistband are two tabs with metal fasteners used to adjust the waistband. Extra buttons are sewn onto the outside of the waistband. A zipper fly is on the front of the trousers. Pockets consist of two hip with button down flaps, two lined side and one left leg cargo with button down flap. A light khaki heel protector is sewn into the hem of each trouser leg. .2) Set khaki elastic and leather braces are attached to the trousers via khaki coloured leather button attachments..1) On white calico manufacturer's label - stamped in black ink: 'YF 34".
