Graham Stewart Martin was an engineer on MV Baron Kinnaird. He fell from scaffolding whilst watching the return of the winning America’s Cup yacht. Appears to be a Victorian Railways platform seat dated possibly from 1925 onwards when Victorian Railways assumed management of the Chalet. 4 other slatted bench seats are sited in the the games room which was built in 1925. The Geelong Cycling Club was formed in Geelong in 1908 and subsequently replaced in 1911 by the Geelong West Cycling Club as reflected in the minutes. Ski-Horizon is the official journal of the Federation of Victorian Ski Clubs which began publication in 1949.
