Original photograph loaned by Sister de Sales of Presentation Sisters in 1988, together with a typed up history of the Sisters in Rutherglen. Father Lawless (later Monsignor) was Priest at St Mary's Rutherglen from 1923 until his death in September 1958. He is buried in Carlyle Cemetery. Known as Powerlot, built by George Packer, a local builder for Jim McLaughlin in 1914. During Olsen family ownership house was altered. The two acre site once had landscaped garden and orchard. Flat roof has lead lined walkway for viewing lakes and sea.
