The photo shows a small weir on the Stoney Creek which used to supply water to a number of early businesses in Halls Gap. The weir's former level can be seen on the large rocks behind but once a town water supply was installed, the wall of the weir was breached. This is a photograph of one of the many stone ruins which can be seen in the Sunbury area and surrounding districts.
