Historical information

The photo shows a small weir on the Stoney Creek which used to supply water to a number of early businesses in Halls Gap. The weir's former level can be seen on the large rocks behind but once a town water supply was installed, the wall of the weir was breached. Record 247 was taken at the same time and includes an image of a description of how to get to the weir.
