The Ballarat School of Mines had a 'Model Mine' that was used to teach students. Practical work was undertaken for a fee, supervised by laboratory superintendents. Copies of assays undertaken are compiled together in this book. Large green hard covered ledger with brown leather binding. An alphabetical listing of names of those who requested assays from the Ballarat School of Mines is found in the front. 713 of the 994 pages are used. City of Bendigo Purchase Requisition, dated from 18/7/1988 to 1723/8/1989. Numbered from 64101 to 64200 Book has a blue and white crocodile skin pattern on the cover. The spine is bound with tan coloured tape. Pages are white with a blue carbon copy. A blue card attached to the back cover is used between each requisition. Purchases and repairs were authorised by J Richmond and J M Crimmins.
