Edmund Fox Moore (7/4/1884 - 4/10/1917) entered Ballarat College 6 March 1899 (peer year 1901). Son of Edmund Notley Moore and Josephine nee Fox, of 'Myra' Sturt St, brother of Otuel Alan Moore (peer year 1903). Previously studied at Haileybury IV Form. Edmund served in World War I and was killed in action in Belgium in October 1917. This item is the 1900 Ballarat College Senior Cup which was won by E F Moore. The Senior Cup was awarded to boys who were good 'all-rounders'. Delia Faye (Cowie) Mansell (BD 19/09/1943) attended CPLC 1956-1960. She received a H V McKay Scholarship and was Vice Captain on Cairns House. Faye trained in nursing after school. Both the Officers and Sergeants Messes of the Regiment have now been closed.Wooden trophy on base with vertical backing piece mounting small shields -1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1990 all Sergeants Mess. Other 5 are blank. On base section is mounted a decorative depiction of cricket batsman in full swing. Something was affixed to the top but there is now only a screw hole showing where it was.
