.1 -Set of 10, The Met, Zone 1 Daily Adult Scratch type tickets, $2.50, yellow with black printing and areas where a person could scratch out the month and day of the month areas to validate the ticket. Has the number on the base of the ticket. Printed for use between December 1989 and July 1990. .2 - One 3 Hour Adult ticket - $1.40. On the rear are the conditions of travel for both types of tickets, The Met logos, Transport Information and Transit Patrol telephone numbers. Some of the tickets have a message, along with logos that The Met is supporting the bid for the Olympics in Melbourne 1996. Three additional 3 hour zone 1 Adult ticket - 1.40 added on 4/7/15, from the donation of Rod Atkins on 13/6/15. Set of four Scratch type tickets, with black printing and areas where a person could scratch out the month and day of the month areas to validate the ticket. Has the number on the base of the ticket. .1 - 2 hour concession zone 3, for sale in a pack of 5 only, has been scratched for June only - ticket No. C00515659. .2 - 2 hour adult, zone 3, has not been scratched or used - SA6849 .3 - 3 hour adult, zone 2, has been scratched for Sept 11, 4 o'clock - C00253703 - second copy added added 20/2/2017 - scratched for 9am, 27/6 - D00099852. .4 - 3 hour concession for zone 2, has been scratched for 9 Sept, 5pm - C00661363 - added 29/10/2016 .5 - 3 hours Zone 1 + 2 from a pack of 5, No. C00161838, scratched for Feb. 24, 6pm - add3d 24/9/2017. Document - NORTH DEBORAH GOLD MINING CO N. L. - MINERS' WAGES AT THE DEBORAH MINES, 1953
Carbon copy notes, with typed copies of same, which have been cut in half, listing Miners' Wages at the Deborah Mines, 1953. Wages are for a 5 day, 40 hour week and in present day currency. Miners received $27.20 or $35.25 if a Leader in a wet shaft. Braceman $25.80, Platman $25.80 or $27.05 if he worked in a wet shaft. A Mining Blacksmith $28.55, a Fireman, from $26.10 to $26.60, Winding Engine Driver $30.05 a week. Batteryman $25.10, battery Feeder $24.80. Engine Driver's wages varied from $27.10 to $28.90 if in charge of a dynamo and plant. The Basic Wage was then $23.20 a week. In 1895, employees worked a 6 day, 48 hour week and most men received less than $5 per week. The price of gold in 1949 was $30.98 compared with an average of $8.00 an ounce in 1895.
