This file contains three items. “The Squatters Squat, Second of Two Articles About the Squatters of the Wimmera” by Ian Maddern, from Wimmera Quarterly, spring 1970. Includes biography of Sir Samuel Wilson (two pages with two copies of one page). ‘Sam Wilson’s Hall’ copy (apparently from the Wimmera Quarterly, 1970) of a poem about Wilson Hall originally published in Melbourne Punch, December 17, 1874, two pages. Handwritten list (one page) of properties in Caulfield area apparently owned by Sir Samuel Wilson from 1877 to 1885, with value of each. There are two copies of the Discover Caulfield guide produced by the Caulfield Historical Society. One from 1982 which contains twelve pages, seven of which are typed and the last five a continuation of the guide added later, hand-written. The other is a modern typed version of the same document, including information at the end that "Notes prepared by R. Ballantyne, 25th July, 1982, updated by Betty Snowball, 1992 and Gladys Vallati 4th August, 1995".
