Period covered by diary from April 1915 until Fyfe's return to Australia in February 1916, includes Gallipoli operations. Letter outlines details and circumstances of the death at Gallipoli of John (Jack) Henry Cartwright (Taylor's son). Bandleader's mace with inscription on head. Silver or silver plate head and tip with polished wood shaft. Blue and gold tassled cords tied to base of head. Korumburra Shire Council logo with a raised wreath border is affixed to top of the mace head.

Decorated board presented to the Korumburra Shire by Daisy Chain Group students and Sieko from Japan in 1992. Features a fabric Japanese Girl dressed in a red and gold costume playing with a ball. Set on glossy gold card. The card is signed on the back by seven students.

These wooden batons were used by a local girls gymnastic group in the Korumburra area in the early 1900's. Framed B & W photograph featuring Korumburra Shire Councillor Richard Nutter Scott. Set in cream card window mount with hand written descriptive text and statement of service below the image. A cut-out panel below this text features a copy of a hand written resignation signed by Councillor Scott in 1956.

It is made from polished fiddleback, Blackwood and sassafras, and studded with ornamental metalwork.This item is aesthetically significant, as it is an example of Arts and Crafts movement, 1880's Hand made Picture Frame, made by Local Korumburra, Carpenter and Builder Mr. Dan Jarvis. As a Builder, this item was made as a hobby item which showed his Excellent skills with minute craftsmanship. It was selected, and featured as item 233, in Murray Walkers catalog, Colonial Crafts of Victoria, published in 1978, for the Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria, November 1978 to January 1979.This hand-made picture frame is an example of the Arts and Crafts movement from the 1880's. It was made by Local Korumburra carpenter and builder, Mr. Dan Jarvis. This showed his excellent skills with minute craftsmanship. It was selected in 1978, and featured as item 233 in Murray Walker’s catalogue, Colonial Crafts of Victoria, for the exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria.

This kit belonged to Roy Basil Cope an Orbost jeweller. He was in the Air Force. Roy was an instrument maker in the air force. He was born on 14 Aug 1907 at Korumburra, Victoria, Australia and died in 1985 at Orbost. He was married to Emily Ruth Powell who was born in Orbost in 1907. . Album full of personal photographs of war experiences for soldier Jack Devlin. Morron covered photograph album with 19 loose pages. Front and back cardboard and leather cover seperate, no spine. Pages held in place by black shoe lace tied on left side. Photographs glued into album on both sides of pages. Total of 103 photos, black and white, 4 photos loose. Each photo has corresponding short handwritten description below or beside it. Album photos range from 1942 - 1945 in locations ranging from Port Moresby, Darwin and Cairns and relate to a soldiers war experiences. The Fred Rochow Railways Collection incorporates photos related to the operation of the Wodonga Railway Station including different types of trains and railways staff C. 1930 – 1990. It was donated to the Wodonga Historical Society by Fred Rochow, a railwayman who spent many years based in Wodonga. He joined the Victorian Railways on 17th June l947 and retired in 1988. For some time, he was a member of the Australian Federated Union of Locomotive Enginemen and served a term as a member of the Trades Hall Council. He had an extensive knowledge of the struggles that took place to achieve better conditions for railway workers. Fred worked for many years as a fireman and then worked his way up the ranks to driver, experiencing many changes from the days of steam locomotives through to diesel trains, locomotives and even the modern XPT train. He worked throughout Victoria at different stages of his career, with his final working years focused on the northeast of Victoria and the Albury to Melbourne line. After his retirement, Fred continued to share his love of steam miniature trains with the community.This collection has local and statewide significance as it captures images of trains, locomotives and personnel who operated the railway services in Wodonga and throughout Northeast Victoria. The railways played a critical role in opening up Victoria and connecting Australia for trade, business, social communication and transport.Guard Hugh Fraser about to take his last ride on 10 May 1971. He started his career with Victorian Railways as a Lad Porter on 1 July 1924 at Oakleigh Station. He worked as a Shunter at Korumburra, Williamstown Pier, Woodend and Ballarat. This doll belonged to Grace Isabel Mitchel (nee Watson). Grace was born in Leongatha and grew up in Korumburra and surrounds. She was gifted this doll as a child. As with all her treasures Grace took great care of them. She died 30/10/2022. She would be very proud to know her doll will now be treasured forever in the town she was created.
