Nunawading's Corporate business committee called for a meeting with state politicians and Ministers for Transport through the revised Mayoral Committee to achieve full construction of the Eastern Freeway and have construction of the freeway concurrent from Ringwood to Doncaster within four years. It will call on the Minister for Roads to prepare a strategy incorporating funding, construction standards and staging.
