This book was produced by the Mallacoota and District Historical Society. The Society, founded in 1974, has a museum housed in a World War 2 Bunker in Mallacoota . The bunker was handed over to the Society by the R.S.L.A small 104 pp book titled Mallacoota Memories. On the front cover is a coloured photo of lakes and trees. The title is in red. The book contains early observations by J.[G] A. Robinson; contact with settlers; mentions Biduelli, Kruatungulung, Murring, Ben- Kurnai, Mallekotang Mittong, Tinnon, Kyrekong, Ponedyang, Worarer Mittong groups. The history is from 1841 -1945. The introduction in this book, by Doulas R. Aylen (CEO), explains that the book is a publication of the memoirs of William Ludwig Samuel Sebastian Lechte, written in the 1930s. Small book titled "CAULFIELD 1869 - 1935 MEMORIES OF THE PAST" by William Ludwig Samuel Sebastian Lechte, published by the City of Caulfield, 1993. The book has a cream coloured cover with the title and author, an aerial image of Caulfield featuring the Caulfield Town Hall and the City of Caulfield Coat of Arms printed on the front. The pages inside include 18 pages of black text printed on white pages. A sticker on the front bottom left hand corner reads 994.51, as this object was once a part of a library catalogue.
