Railway Hotel, Sussex Street, Linton, 2014 Photograph ...The hotel began life in the 1860s as Luth's Hotel, and was then known as O'Sullivan's Hotel and McCuskey's Hotel before becoming the Railway Hotel in about 1890. The change to this name occurred after tenders were let to build the railway line to Linton in 1889. The hotel was substantially renovated in the early 1900s and the verandah is thought to have been added by about 1920.One of three colour photographs printed on a single sheet of photographic paper. At the time the offices were built, Linton was the headquarters of the Shire of Grenville.
