Alan Charles Quinn went to sea at the age of 16 and photographed his work and the places he visited. He has left behind a pictorial autobiography enclosed in a number of photograph albums. Also included in the Alan Charles Quinn Collection are a series of letters written to and from his mother during his time at sea.Black and white photograph of bollards in the water at San Francisco.
