They are possibly the mother and brother of Septimus Miller, owner of Cantala. The location and cemetery is unknown. August Shatz founded his clock making company in the mid-1850s in the Black Forest region of Triburg, Germany. Brighton local Margaret Cooke (nee Parish) had this dress made for the Miss Summer Festival competition fundraiser. The idea for the dress came from a photograph in the Womens' Weekly. A professional dressmaker cut and made the dress. It has an 18" waist.
