This is the author's PhD research at the College of Arts and Education at Victoria University about the Blacksmith's Tree, memorial and art work constructed mainly by many blacksmiths and finally installed at Strathewen following the Black Saturday bushfires in February 2009. The book includes the authors own drawings and text. Includes a time line and references.
