David Williams, betweeen 1990 and 2004 self-published 18 historical sketchbooks around Victoria. These and other projects involved the creation of over 5000 paintings. David Williams is a water colourist. His book for South-eastern Victoria around the Portland area was awarded the Victorian Government History Award in 2005. Special exhibitions of David William's paintings have been held in Eaglehawk, Echuca, Bright, Glen Waverley, Myrtleford, Wandiligong, Olinda and Point Lonsdale to assist community projects.Image of a wharf with boats moored up either side. To the right of the wharf are several large Norfolk Pines. In the foreground of the image is the front part of a boat with the letters 'Jot' in blue. This book contains the names of those on the 1939 electoral roll for Wannon in Victoria. It is an original Federal electorate and was established in 1901. It has had some changes of boundaries over the years. The sub-divisions in the Wannon electorate in 1939 included Branxholme, Casterton, Dimboola, Hamilton, Harrow, Horsham, Horsham South, Jeparit, Koroit, Nhill, Port Fairy, Portland, Stawell and Warrnambool. This book, although tattered and incomplete is a useful one as it has the names of all those on the electoral roll in the Wannon electorate in 1939 and this includes the Warrnambool area. It will be useful to researchers.This is a book containing printed material. It has no cover and is missing several front and back pages. One page at the back is loose and the pages are dog-eared. Travis Webber was born in South Australia in 1900. He died in 1968. He studied at the South Australian School of Arts where he went on to teach. Webber established himself as one of the Australia's most prolific landscape artists. His work is held in several large galleries.Bluestone building with a shingle roof. In foreground right is a wooden fence. A carriageway cuts through centre of building, and above this is a window filled in with corrugated iron. The right side of building has large cracks. A tree is growing against the building in image centre, and bushes at image left and right.
