Communion table, Before 1952
The table was used in St Martins Anglican Church at Belgrave South, and was removed to the new St Martins Anglican Church in the 1980s. In the 2000s it was donated to the Historical Society.This is a wooden rectangular communion table, enclosed on three sides and open at the back. There is a single shelf extending the full width and depth and accessible from the back. There are mitre-shaped panels on all three sides. On the left side (as viewed from the body of the church) is affixed a metal plaque. See below for inscription.On plaque: "As a thank offering in memory of Mrs A.
