The cemetery was at the rear of the Wesleyan Church in High Street Thomastown. The church, schoolhouse and cemetery were established in 1854. In 1988 the Uniting Church donated the cemetery to the City of Whittlesea as a permanent reminder and tribute to Thomastown's early British pioneersCemetery is located off High Street Thomastown. The cemetery runs along the grounds of the Thomastown Primary School.The last burial was 1955. Grace Winifred Faichney, 1909 - 1978, was the wife of the Very Rev Norman Faichney (1910—1998), Presbyterian and Uniting Church minister. The Life Story of Alexander Robert Edgar who founded the Central Mission Melbourne who due to ill health moved to Ringwood to take advantage of the clean fresh air for his health. After his death his wife donated two stain glass windows in memory of her husband and children.
