Plain white china feeding cup, provided with a handle and pouring spout at right angles to each other. There is a scalloped half-cover over the cup to prevent spillage. A Red Cross symbol, surrounded by a solid red circle, is located on the top. Used in hospitals for feeding invalid or bed-ridden patients.This cup has a Red Cross symbol on the upper surface. The underside of the cup has the following imprint: "MADE IN ENGLAND", "EMPIRE WORKS", "STOKE on TRENT" beneath a symbol of a crown which is beneath "E. P. Co.". The cup is also is impressed with the word "ENGLAND".

Small, packaged First Field Dressing issued to Australian and British service personnel during World War 1. The package is made of a tough, protective (waterproof?) fabric and comes complete with a safety pin for use as a bandage. These were carried by soldiers and used for initial treatment of wounds. A pair of serviceman's personal identification tags, Vietnam era, issued to (Private) H (Herman) E (Emil) ERBACHER, who was born in Germany, 12/2/1948 and served with the 4RAR from 12/5/1968 to 30/5/1969. These tags are attached to a jungle green coloured nylon cord, 2mm diameter. Standard WW2 era Australian Army issue, pattern 1937 equipment pack made of heavy weight cotton webbing material in the standard khaki colour. This pack was carried on the wearer's back, supported by two straps worn over the shoulder. These packs were used by military personnel to carry personal equipment items whilst in the field. This pack type is square in shape and has additional straps for attaching to webbing. The front of the pack has 'NX 83432 G Siddaway' written in black. The top flap of the pack is secured by two straps which attach to brass buckles secured by canvas loops to the front of the pack.This pack is stamped with the standard Australian Dept of Defence mark and has the serviceman's name "NX 83432 G. Sidaway"

An example of the Liberation Medal, fifth class, issued by the government of Kuwait for service during the Liberation of Kuwait campaign in the Gulf War of 1990 to 1993. This medal was provided to eligible Australian service personnel however is not worn as an official service decoration. This medal is engraved with the following; Hillier D. N. service number 322256. These are made of Bronze with coloured enamel features and have a ribbon with red, white and green vertical stripes. The medal complete with a service ribbon, is in a plastic presentation case which is stored in a protective cardboard sleeve.

A trophy in the form of a small replica of an Australian Army 'slouch hat' mounted on a circular stand. The 'slouch hat' is silver plated, has a turned brim on the left hand side and has a 'rising sun' hat badge. The circular stand is made of a light gauge steel which has been pressed in the form of an inverted dish and is coloured with a mid brown finish. There is a silver plated label attached to the dish which has been engraved indicating that this item was originally a trophy (origin unknown). The label has the following engraved inscription "R. The Official RSL Tankard Collection issued to commemorate the four main conflicts in which Australian service personnel had participated prior to issue in 1983. This limited edition set of four tankards was manufactured by Franklin Mint and was exclusively for RSL members. Each tankard depicts three scenes relating to the particular conflict represented. The tankards are circular and incorporate a handle. Each of these large tankards is made of white glazed porcelain and has a capacity of 0.6 litres. Framed and mounted collection of English World War 1 military metal unit insignia and unit names. There are a total of 70 various items (some duplication) mounted on a red velvet covered backing board of thick cardboard. Contained in a wooden cabinet complete with a hinged glass fronted door. The collection was the work of World War 1 English service man, ? Akeroyd, father of John Akeroyd, past President of Frankston RSL Sub Branch.

provenance unknownSmall, soft cover, pocketbook presumably souvenired from a German soldier during the latter stages of World War 2. The pocketbook is of the type originally issued by the German military and was printed in August 1941, edited by Georg Westermann, Braunschweig. The book has a red coloured cover with black printing and contains 48 pages. Pages are printed in black, the maps are printed in colour. The pocketbook is in good condition, some pages have tears and the cover is scuffed. The pocket book title translates as "Paperback Greater Germany, History Chart, Germany's Wehrmacht, World Atlas" and is a collection of information about the German Reich, German military units and insignia and world maps, 1942 calendar, etc. The original owner has made markings on some maps and has made notes.The front cover is printed in black ink with the following "Taschenbuch Groß-Deutschland, Geschichtstafel, Deutschlands Wehrmacht, Weltatlas"

Framed print produced by the gravure process. The print is in sepia tonings and depicts a military scene, presumably Turkish. The print is mounted with a brown wooden frame and glass front. Artist is Erol Yildirim, born 1959 in Bolu, Turkey. The print is number 51 of 100 and is dated 2015. This print was presented to the President and members of the Frankston RSL Sub Branch by the people of Turkey in early 2015 (just prior to the 100th Anniversary of the Gallipoli landing). The rear of the print has a brief biography of the artist and an explanation of the process used to produce the print attached. There is also a 'with compliments' slip from the Embassy of Turkey, Canberra attached.This print is marked "51/100" and has the artists name "Erol YILDIRIM 2015"

World War 2 brass munition cases of Japanese and Australian origins. This is an example of 'trench art' having been made into a flower vase. Vase is a Japanese brass 30mm anti-aircraft shell case with a 1938 Territory of New Guinea silver one shilling coin affixed to the side of the shell case. the top of the case is slighltly splayed to form a decorative lip. Either side of the case are two Australian .303 spent cartridges vertically mounted and attached by two further cut-down .303 cases. The vertical cartridge cases have bullets insertedThe 30mm case has several Japanese characters on the base, naval anchors and the English S4/17 The .303 cases are marked M6 VII 1942

A pocket sized marching compass enclosed in a wooden container with a hinged lid. This is a dry type compass with a floating rotary dial marked with the major and minor compass points and an outer circular dial marked from 0 to 360 degrees in 10 degrees increments. The compass container is marked J. WARDALE & Co., LONDON, 1918 No 6341.

A matching set of condiments dispensers consisting of a salt, pepper and mustard pots made from fuse fittings removed from artillery projectiles. The fuses have been modified, the salt and pepper shakers have a removable aluminium screw top for refilling and the mustard pot has the aluminium top hinged to open the pot. The removable salt and pepper shaker tops have been drilled with small diameter holes and the bottoms of all of the pieces have been sealed with a brass disc which acts as a base. These are manufactured from military hardware items and are thus classified as examples of trench art. The fuses are marked with a scale which is used for setting the fuse timing in graduations from 0 to 55 in increments of 5 around the body of the fuse with the letter 'S' (for safe) at the midpoint of the scale. The fuses are marked with a scale "0 to 55" in increments of 5 with the letter 'S' at the midpoint.

A type of hot water bottle carried by aircraft pilots and crew to keep themselves warm whilst flying at high altitudes. The bottle is made of Aluminium and was carried in a pocket of their flying suit.

Donated by Frank Verco service number R62418, who enlisted in the RAN as a young man. Frank was posted to the HMAS Voyager and was on board when the ship was involved in an accident which resulted in it's sinking in February 1964. Fortunately Frank was uninjured, he was in the bow area of the ship at the time of the accident Frank and went down with that section of the ship. Frank later served on the HMAS Sydney ferrying troops to Vietnam. Frank was in the RAN for three years, his rank was Ordinary Seaman/Electrical Mechanic.Royal Australian Navy ratings cap worn by able seamen when in uniform, this white cap has a tally band and chinstrap in black material with the embroidered name "H.M.A.S. VOYAGER". This type of cap is a personal purchase for 'wearing out' and is known to sailor's as a "tiddly" hat. The hat has internal red (for Port) and green (for Starboard) lining bands and a blue sweat band.embroidered tally band with the inscription : "H. M. A. S. VOYAGER" and the name "F. J. VERCO" written inside. The inside lining has the imprint "Manufactured Expressly for Sinbad Trading Company Melbourne, Made in England"
