Uniform - Coat Button/s, Stokes & Sons Melbourne
Set of 17 large and 7 small TB uniform clothing buttons. Large Button about 23 diameter, with TB crest, with backing piece and lug for sewing on rear. Nickel plated silver? Most have two holes in the rear as well. All but one made by Stokes and Sons, Victoria. One large button made by K. G. Luke A/Asia. Small button, approx. 16 diameter, as above, with or without holes in the rear. One button by K. G. Shows horse-drawn vehicles and one electric tram arriving at the terminus, late in the evening. Shows the little shed at the terminus, and buildings on either side of the Sturt St. People waiting around the tram stop. The tram seems to have a "color" light indicator above the driver. Titled "Sturt Street, Ballarat" in red ink in the top left-hand corner. On the rear of the card, has the stamp "R. M. Noy, Postcard collection", cancellation stamp of Ballarat East, 23.5.07, 1d Victorian stamp. Written to Miss Victoria Kemsey? of 225 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne, wishing her many happy returns on the day. Has the logo of WTP." in the top centre of the card. Divided back type. A number of ladies, including one using a walking stick, walking away from the tram. Set of 12 colour views of Geelong on a folded strip, glued within a colour printed cover, titled "A Souvenir of Geelong", printed on both sides of the strip. Booklet printed with an address area on rear. Produced by Nulcolorvue Productions, Mentone, Victoria. The rear has a slit on the rear cover that allowed the folder to be secured. On the inside of the front cover, has an introduction to Geelong, notes "modern tram and bus routes" Pictures are: 1. Gheringhap St showing Geelong City Hall and Post Office 2. Originally a block of 200 tickets been stapled onto a pink coloured cardboard back with a heavy metal staple and a small green coloured cardboard retaining strip at the top of the ticket. The ticket price is in orange ink while the ticket number itself is in black ink. The rear of the ticket is blank. The cardboard rear has been trimmed and punched with a ticket punch.
