The Victorian State Election was held on 24 November 2018. ALP candidates were Sarah de Santis (Ripon), Michaela Settle (Buninyong) and Juliana Addison (Wendouree). The Andrews/ALP government was returned in a landslide victory. The footage in this recording comes from a party held at Ballarat Trades Hall on the night of the election. Candidates for Wendouree and Buninyong, Ms Addison and Ms Settle, were successful. This is the last episode of 'The Flying Dogtor'. The Dogtor found himself falling through the icy water, and there was nothing he could do to stop himself. But suddenly, he was shooting upwards and burst through the top of the well. A real sea serpent came to the Dogtor's rescue. It highlighted traffic congestion, the distribution of recreational open space and haphazard intermingling of land uses. The plan identified a number of problems, such as the congestion at St Kilda Junction, that were not addressed until decades later. Contextual or historic information One of a series of photographs, taken by Edgar James Dower in the second decade of the twentieth century. Born and raised in Olinda, his family later moved to Surrey Hills. He worked as an adult as a clerk in the city office of the Metropolitan Gas Company, and in his role as a 'collector', he was able to photograph scenes including the construction of tramlines and associated buildings in Kew, Hawthorn, Camberwell and Surrey Hills. Later he established a real estate agency with his brother - the E.J.
