This material came as part of a large donation of material discovered in boxes and cases in the roof of a home at 228 Union Rd, Surrey Hills. The home belonged to the Brennan Family from its beginnings in the 1920s until c. 1980. Thomas William Brennan, MLC was a teacher, then a journalist and solicitor before becoming a politician. Formerly the Ballarat Junior Technical School occupied a few pages at the back of the Ballarat School of Mines Students' Magazine. In this year the Ballarat Junior Technical School's 'brother' school, Ballarat North Technical School, was publishing its own magazine called 'Green Acres'.
