Newspaper clipping from The Courier, early 1940's about the Melbourne Electric Lighting Co. notifying the Councils that it is prepared to extend the tram to North Geelong and run trams to Belmont and Highton when the new bridge is erected across the Barwon after the war. Item opposite a an advertisement "Don't be caught in a Blackout" - no date on the cutting.
