Set of 10 digital images of Ballarat trams prior to closure, scanned from original slides by Tony Smith, 1971 prior to closure of the system.
.1 - 37 at the Lydiard St North terminus, with the shelter in the background.
.2 - 33 at the Mount Pleasant terminus, has the corner store with a "The Sun" advertisement and the general store on the right side of the road in the background. Has signs for Streets Ice Cream and Coca Cola. Also has the tram stop signs - painted pole and enamel sign.
.3 -33 arriving at the Mt Pleasant terminus with the conductor stepping off the back step, a lady walking across to the tram. Tram has a Twin Lakes sign.
.4 - 11 at Victoria St terminus, with conductor turning the pole. Tram has a Twin Lakes sign. IN the background is the rail bridge over the Eureka line and a shelter.
