An example of a small pocket book gifted by the Australian Comforts Fund (ACF) to soldiers and other servicemen during WW2. This pocket book has a bright red cover and was given as a morale boosting gift. The book contains details of relevant information considered useful to serving service personnel. A copy of a small format newspaper issued to Australian personnel during World War 2. This edition is the Northern Edition (Australian & American) and bears the header "In the Field, Tuesday, February 29, 1944". This edition is Volume 2, Number 103.

Vietnam era issue flying helmet type HGU-2A/P. The helmet is manufactured from fibreglass in a jungle green finish and has a thick high density plastic foam lining for head protection. Complete with an adjustable chin strap and a dual visor kit of clear and tinted visors to protect the eyes. This helmet is fitted with two loudspeaker/earphones and a microphone positioned in front of the mouth of the wearer. The microphone has a flying lead with an audio connector for connection to the aircraft communications equipment.

Varnished tinplate container which originally held one pound of Special DSF Mustard Compound. Presumably a caterers size pack used by cooks in a camp mess or similar. The top of the container is removable. The container is empty.

Small cardboard packet containing 10 glass Ampoules of Ammonia Inhalant Solution (Aromatic). These were for field use and intended to be used as 'smelling salts'. These were carried by a RAN rating during the Vietnam conflict. Square hinged box inscribed on lid 'Anzac Commemoration 1926'. The box is covered with a thin, black leather-like material. The box is lined with cloth. The lower section of the box is lined with a mid-blue cloth which is imprinted, in silver, with the map of Australia in which five English farthings have been set. The coins are in the formation of the Southern Cross with a silver star shape around each farthing. The underside of the box lid has dark blue gathered satin lining. The coins are in uncirculated condition and are loose. The box is damaged.The box is inscibed in gold lettering with the following: "Anzac Commemoration 1926"
