The Bendigo Advertiser began a reader's recipe section in 1954. It was so popular that readers asked that some of the recipes were produced in book format. The first edition (this item) was published in 1955. By 1980 a third edition had been published.The Bendigo Advertiser Reader Cookbook Seventy two Page cookbook, includes black and white illustrations.
